The Rockets, who shot a woeful 30.2 percent (26-of-86), were missing Trevor Ariza (left hip pointer) and Kyle Lowry (sprained left ankle) from the lineup. The first half, particularly the second quarter, told the story of this game. Miami went on a 13-2 run to end the first with a 24-16 lead and then surged in the second, going 13-of-19 from the field. Meanwhile, Houston went 5-of-19 in the same stanza, as the Heat gained a commanding 56-31 lead at the half. Haslem made all five of his field goal attempts in the second, a period in which the Heat started with a 9-2 spurt. A layup from Arroyo in the final minute represented the 25-point lead at the break. Miami held a comfortable double-digit advantage throughout the third, widening the margin to 77-48 on a Quentin Richardson three-ball with 1:32 remaining. Up 80-55 moving to the fourth, Wade sat out the last quarter and iced his right knee as Miami coasted to victory. Game Notes Miami swept the season series, also winning 115-106 in Houston on January 15...Chuck Hayes had 12 rebounds for Houston...The Heat finished at 51.9 percent from the field...Dorell Wright had a career-best seven assists for Miami.
